Success for Tom and The Prince’s Trust Team Programme…

Nearly 18 months ago, a young man called Tom joined Forest Group from The Prince’s Trust Team Programme on a work placement to gain some experience in the world of commercial refrigeration and air conditioning.

Today, we asked Tom how he was doing and if we tell his story to highlight the positive effect the Princes Trust had on his life. Tom’s response was, yes please, and he continued to say how appreciative he was for the opportunity, how proud he was of himself, and how far he has come both personally and in his work.

Today, Tom proudly describes himself as a qualified Refrigeration Engineer.

We are very proud of Tom, the level of confidence, commitment and capability has been excellent. We are also very proud of everyone involved in Tom’s journey and would like to thank Lancashire Fire and Rescue Service, The Prince’s Trust and the Forest Group team for all their hard work helping to provide opportunities and improving peoples lives.
